Things were about to go from beautiful to brutal in a matter of seconds…

On August 25, 2025, Trish was rushed to the emergency room in excruciating abdominal pain—jaundiced, fragile, and at the time we didn’t realize she had begun fighting a critical, life-changing medical crisis.

Within a three-week timeframe Trish had lost 25 pounds, undergone five surgeries and began extensive rounds of chemotherapy. (See the Updates Section for current stats)

She was ultimately diagnosed with a very rare, high-grade, locally advanced rapid growth tumor, called Adenosquamous Pancreatic Cancer. (Don’t google it)

They immediately began aggressively modifying chemotherapy cocktails for her treatment. Less than 3% of pancreatic cancers are Adenosquamous. This is an aggressive cancer, it frequently misbehaves, is extremely painful and very difficult to manage.

Trish has an extensive oncology medical team assisting us from their respective fields through this horrifying journey.

Trish has a very long, very painful recovery road ahead which will include lengthy rounds of chemotherapy affectionately called “5FU” by the oncology world. (We understand why)

Trish will eventually and hopefully undergo “Whipple” surgery, which is a complex surgery that removes the head of the pancreas, part of the small intestine (duodenum), the gallbladder, the bile duct and possibly part of her stomach. It aims to remove tumors and improve survival rates, but carries significant risks and requires careful patient selection. It can take up to 9 hours to perform. This will be followed by more rounds of chemotherapy.

The Whipple procedure is one of the most extensive abdominal surgeries a person can undergo. The pancreas itself is notoriously delicate—surgeons often say that operating on it is “like trying to stitch together butter.”

Trish has a loving family standing beside her, most importantly her identical twin sons.

From the very beginning we were told the goal is to CURE Trish of this horrible cancer and we place our trust in God Almighty to carefully guide the hearts, hands and minds of the truly remarkable medical professionals at MD Anderson Cancer Center in Gilbert Arizona.

Assist us in her caretaking by making every aspect of her recovery as pain free and easy as possible. Your donation will directly fund the substantial costs of medical expenses, including hospital stays, procedures, brutally long hours of chemo treatments, travel to and from the cancer center, home health devices and health assistance needed in the future. Worrying amount funding should be the least of her worries.

Recovery and beating Pancreatic Cancer is her number one priority!

If you feel moved to help, please donate whatever you’re able. EVERY SINGLE contribution—NO MATTER WHAT AMOUNT—helps support our LADY WARRIOR as she fights for her life.

If you can give anything, please know how deeply grateful we are. If you can’t, we understand.

Please share Trish’s story — and please, keep her in your daily prayers.
