Help Me Get To Japan!

Hello everyone!
It has been my dream since I was very little to visit and explore Japan. I have dreamt about it for years, but it was never possible due to financial issues. I am a hardworking student with a Japanese minor who works part time to support myself. I study constantly and have very little time for recreational activities. I am an aspiring psychologist and plan on attending graduate school down the line.
Last year, I learned about the 27th Annual Japan-America Grassroots Summit held in Nara, Japan. Unfortunately, I was unable to make enough money in time to fund my trip and did not end up going. All of my money was spent on necessities like food, along with necessary college textbooks, and I had very little left over. I was barely able to afford three meals a day, let alone a trip to another country.
The Japan-America Grassroots Summit is an amazing program in which participants spend a week living in Japan. In that week, they go to conferences, explore the local area, and get to experience Japanese life by residing in a Japanese home in a homestay program. This program is a dream come true for me. Not only will I be able to make connections in Japan, but I will also receive 3 credits for my University. Unfortunately, the cost is extremely high and ends up being around two months of full time work for me, which is impossible since I am a student. Part time work would be even longer, and is just not possible considering the expenses of day-to-day life.
Since this is an annual program that alternates between being hosted in Japan and America every year, in 2018 this program will be held in America. In 2019 however, this program will once again be held in Japan. This will be my last chance to visit Japan for a long time. Although the date of this program is far away, it is important that I start planning now. I'm already preparing by taking additional Japanese courses apart from the ones offered at my University, and by memorizing kanji on a daily basis. I am working hard to achieve this dream, but the financial issue is currently holding me back.
The total cost of $2,700 includes:
✿Round trip transportation between cities, including international & domestic airfares and bus cost
✿Hotel accommodation based on the double occupancy
✿Bento box dinner
✿All breakfast
✿Most of the meals during Local Session
✿All transportation in Japan during the Summit period
✿All participation, administration and handling costs for the Summit
