To help the family of Chelsea

Hi our names are Lauren and Sam we are family of Chelsea's

And are trying to raise money because

In June 13 year old Chelsea and her family's life's were turned upside down with a diagnosis of leukimia. Treatment started very quick and after spending 5 weeks in Southampton with mum Siobhan they was allowed home and back with family and her little brother Christopher. Chelseas treatment is continuing on the island with regular trips Southampton. Chelseas parents Siobhan and Joe have been unable to work as Chelsea also has a hereditary condition called charcot marie tooth disease which effects all the perifial nerves and causes muscle wastage. Unfortunately one of the chemotherapy drugs is on the list of medication that effects cmt but it was the one to give her her best chance so not having it wasn't really an option but it means that Chelsea has lost a big percentage of muscle mass over a rapid period of time and with that her mobility has been severely effected so Siobhan and Joe have to be with her at all times as she can't stand alone and is unable to walk without the assistance of someone. She also has lost most of the use of her hands which means she is unable to do the drawing she so loves and is so so good at. Befor this diagnosis Chelsea loved family weekends, camping with family and friends which she is now unable to do, one thing Chelsea has mentioned is a large cabin for a weekend where as much of her family can get together as possible at the same time we have decided to do this go fund me to help Chelsea and her family with extra ferry costs and all the extra expenses that come with having a illness and being disabled and things that can help Chelsea in her everyday life aswell as hopefully treating Chelsea without having to worry about costs. Hopefully we may even be able to get her that weekend with all of the family she so desperately wants.
