Hi
My name is Bailey, and I have made this fundraiser for my cat named Tripp. He's a white and brown tabby who is a sweet and shy angel. In December 2021, I went to the West Alabama Humane Society to adopt a kitten. I didn't know I would walk out of there with 2 of the sweetest cats ever. His bonded brother, Clark, is healthy and such a dog-like cat. The Humane Society told me of Tripp's medical history, and it's been a long road. He had a little bit of a time where he ate litter to get nutrients, but we got him to quit and change litters. Instead of being a ball and socket joint, his right hip is more like a saucer and has given him a limp. He was scheduled to have surgery on June 13th to help his hip, but the vet noticed some things. He had lost weight, bobs his head, and not much of an appetite; he also would get into a closed space and could not figure out how to get out. The vet suggested he showed signs of FIP and told me about the disease. I'm raising money to get treatment for him to be cured as I work three jobs while also being a college student. Clark and Tripp are my first pets, and they're family. They have been there for me through my most challenging times and have given me so much emotional support. I'm planning to use the money for the medication for Tripp. It will be a long and challenging road, but it's one I'm making for my family.
