Tripping When The World Is Ending: A Psychedelic Education Project

For three years, I've been creating free harm reduction guides, exploring forgotten psychedelic history, and sharing practical tips with over 40,000 people. All independent, all unpaid, driven by my belief that as more people than ever take psychedelics, there's a hunger for honest, accessible resources. I'm ready to move beyond writing; I want to reach more people, and no one reads anymore.

"Tripping When The World Is Ending" will produce three types of videos:

Conversations In Nature: Talking to psychedelic experts—underground guides, researchers, longtime psychonauts—in natural settings where these experiences truly shine. Guests will go through an experience with me before we sit down, creating authenticity you can't replicate on a page or podcast.

Cultural Documentation: Gonzo-style journalism at music festivals and psychedelic conferences, capturing the culture as it happens. Hearing real perspectives on psychedelics from everyday people.

Psychedelic Documentaries: Professional-quality films about modern psychedelic use, covering topics such as Native American peyote traditions, extended-state DMT research, and everything in-between.

My Background:
I grew up on the Oregon Coast with a passion for being outside, helping people, and new experiences. I have a professional videography background and all the basic gear needed. At seven, I founded "Read for the Need," a charity that raised $65,000 for local food shares over a decade—community service has always been important.

Current Situation:
Recently, I made a bold decision: rebuild a used trailer by hand and live on the road to pursue this work full-time.

Two weeks ago, I got stuck on a beach in southern Oregon and nearly lost everything to the Pacific Ocean. A stranger with a winch saved me, but the incident caused damage and I've blown two tires since. I'm currently on a spare and a patch, which forced me to finally ask for community support.

The Ask:
I need $4,000 to launch this project properly:

  • New all-terrain tires and trailer repairs ($1,200)
  • Starlink for remote uploads ($600 - 2 months)
  • Essential filming equipment upgrades - lens, batteries, drone, portable power bank, lighting ($800)
  • Resource website development - archiving my previous work ($200)
  • Travel Stipend - gas, food, lodging ($1,200)

What You Get:
If I reach my goal, I promise this before July 31st:
  • 3 Expert Conversations in Nature
  • 1 Gonzo-Journalism Video
  • 1 Full-length (~45 min) Psychedelic Documentary
  • An easy-to-navigate Psychedelic Resource Website (my archived material & additional resources)

(Videos will be published on YouTube & Twitter)

I want to build a community that reflects what psychedelics teach: inclusive, authentic, fighting for decriminalization and accessibility.

If these tools have helped you or someone you love, or if you believe everyone deserves honest psychedelic information, please support this independent work.
