Tripp Smith’s Battle with Cancer

Hi, my name is Travis Brewington. My nephew Tripp Smith, is an recent graduate from Hillcrest High School in Simpsonville, SC. Tripp graduated from high school and on his way to college to fulfill his dream of playing college football at a D1 college.

After all his years and years of hard work and dedication, Tripp decided to call East Carolina University home. He reported to school this summer to begin practice for freshman players. After detecting some irregularities in his health by the team doctors, testing began to find what was causing the issues.

After extensive testing at the local hospital, Tripp was diagnosed with Stage 4 Hodgkins Lymphoma. He has immediately started chemotherapy and has began his fight against cancer. This will be a long road, but Tripp is a natural born fighter and will hit this head on! He has had to return home to South Carolina to continue treatment with his family’s support.

I am looking to help raise money to offset some of the costs associated with fighting cancer. There are so many things that will support the family. From using this to help medical bills, to purchasing any of the items needed to make this battle a little more comfortable for not only Tripp, but his family as well.
