Four years ago, when we first shared Tripp’s cancer diagnosis here, we were overwhelmed by the kindness, prayers, and generosity that poured in from all of you. Your support carried us through one of the hardest chapters of our lives, and we have never forgotten it.
Today we’re writing with a difficult update.
After a recent round of scans and appointments, Tripp’s doctors have confirmed that his cancer has returned and is again, Stage 4. His surgical oncologist told us that surgery is no longer an option, and the focus of treatment will now be palliative—centered on comfort, quality of life, and time.
As you can imagine, this news has been heartbreaking for our family.
If you know Tripp, you know he is a man of deep faith. He truly believes the power of prayer carried him through when the odds felt impossible last time. And even now, he still believes in that power. More than anything, he would love your prayers again. Please keep him in your prayer circles.
Practically speaking, this next chapter will also bring increasing medical expenses—ongoing treatments, prescriptions, dietary needs, and day-to-day living costs as we navigate what lies ahead. Your continued support here helps relieve some of that burden.
But beyond that, we are also trying to focus on making meaningful memories while we can.
We don’t know exactly how much time we have, but we are determined to fill it with love, faith, and moments that matter.
Thank you for standing with Tripp and our family all these years. Whether through prayers, sharing this page, or helping in any way you can, we are deeply grateful.
With love and gratitude,
The Anderson’s
