Hi! My name is Alana, and I believe a single meal can change the course of a child’s day, and sometimes a life. When I saw how Second Harvest devotes tremendous care to turning food into opportunity, I was moved. Every day they help provide 300,000 meals to neighbors across seven Central Florida counties, and their network of more than 870 partners makes sure families, seniors, and kids can count on the nourishment they need.

Growing up, the small kindnesses my community offered made it possible for me to be curious, to learn, and to breathe easier. I want that same gift for children who may be worrying about where their next meal will come from. When a child can trade worry for wonder, they get to be a kid first. That feeling is priceless, and it is what I hope to protect and multiply through this campaign.
