My name is Tina. One year ago I was diagnosed with stage 4 triple negative Interductal Carcinoma of the breast. I've been undergoing chemotherapy and I've had a lumpectomy.  The chemo was successful in making the polyps on my lung disappear but when then tumor was removed from the breast it was still cancerous. My onchologist says I'm in remission but because it has spread to other parts of my body and because it is triple negative the cancer will be back. My last two visits to him he has stressed to me that I need to live this summer with my family and to enjoy my life because soon we will be back with the chemo. 
My fund raiser is for me and my two children to go on a grand vacation.  I'd love to take them west to see the grand canyon and to see the redwoods in California but that would be a lofty goal and may not be met in such a short time so I'd be happy with taking them to the beach and drive down the coast for a few weeks.  
It's not a vacation for me but for my boys.  I know the next year will most likely be very difficult for them and I'd like for them to have memories that  hopefully will help them threw the most difficult times.
