Help send an influencer to Xinjiang to promote Uyghur-owned businesses to western & Chinese audiences! If we break our goal, I'll go to Tibet too!

If you care about the ethnic minority groups in China, the absolute best thing you can do is to go there, make friends, and support them directly. I fund my travel to China by promoting businesses there, but I will work to promote these businesses for free if I can get a bit of help from you all. Let's help promote the Uyghur culture and help them to thrive by spending money there!

I am a full-time influencer on Chinese social media with 400k+ followers across platforms, so that means people recognize me on the street daily and welcome me into their homes and businesses for an inside look at life in China. I want to share that with you all. That also means that any videos I make in Xinjiang will also reach millions of Chinese people to promote Uyghur culture and encourage them to travel to support Uyghur-owned businesses.

I usually collaborate with hotels, travel companies, and tech companies to promote them, but I am giving up the work opportunities I have in the big costal cities in China to go explore Xinjiang and promote Uyghur businesses for free.

That being said, I can't sublet my apartment in NYC per my lease, and I will be traveling on a shoestring budget since I won't be working while in Xinjiang. I want to be able to afford to stay at various Uyghur-owned bed & breakfasts, so I can promote them to Chinese and international travelers. I want to be able to explore and spend money generously in the local economy without holding back because of a budget. I want to be able to dive in fully while I'm there and share my experience with you all.

Thankfully, traveling in China is notoriously affordable. I'll already be spending my own money to make this trip, but a few hundred dollars can help me stay for a lot longer to make more friends, support more businesses, and shoot more content.

If this goes over the goal enough, I'll be able to afford to stay in China for another 2 weeks to explore Tibet too, so every bit counts!

If I raise over $1,000, then I can stay even longer and spend a lot of money at more businesses!

If I raise over $2,500, then I can afford to also plan a trip to Tibet to support the locals there as well!
