Let's pitch in for the Poop Deck 2019!
Community toilets will be located at the Arts And Entertainment District, an art park of public hangout spaces, art, and art boat docks at Elysium Archipelago.
We expect much higher volume of use at this location than the Pontunery's previous DIYsland location, so we will be calling Septic Brothers to pump more often throughout the event. Elysium fielded some 600 visitors last year and the Arts And Entertainment toilets will there for them in 2019.
We are also building a bigger, better Poop Deck. The fundraiser primarily pays for the costs of building the Deck.
Toilet Technology has been improving: The first year that Everybody Pooped! , we boat-towed (empty, clean) toilets using a "platform" assembled on site at the marina. During Everybody Poops! Number Two, we loaded two separate floating dock sections into the water off of custom, dedicated trailers, quickly connected them into one big and stable 8x12 platform, and towed that back
and forth to the event. Septic Brothers does an amazing job cleaning up our event messes, and the toilets are clean and empty when underway.
Rental companies won't load toilets onto anything but the ground, so this year we are requesting funds for a used lift gate or for another lifting solution so superhuman efforts aren't necessary.
