Trip to Maryland Trip to Audition

Hello everyone,

As some of you may know, I have been accepted to audition for The Naval Academy Band on the Saxophone, which the audition is in Maryland.  However, I do not have the funds for myself to travel.  I need help to save up for a round trip flight, a hotel for at least one night, and a rental car.  Joining the military music program has always been a dream goal for me to be a part of, and now there is an opportunity to do so.  I am putting all of my time to practice my instruments, making sure that this opportunity does not go to waste.  Regarless of me being chosen for the position or not, this is a great opportunity to gain experience as a musician for more audition opportunities that I may have in the future.  The date of the audition is March 12, 2018, so there is a little over 2 months worth of saving and raising the funds.  I would be entirely greatful to all of you who help me get to the audition.  I will be honest though: there is no gaurantee that I will be chosen for the position, but regardless of the outcome from the audition, this is only the beginning of my journey as a musician.  Thank you all for taking the time to read my story, and I hope that you can help me raise the funds for the trip to Marland.
