Hi, I’m Sean Perry, a student and football player at Wakefield High School in Arlington County, Virginia.
A few days ago, I found out I’d been selected for the Blue-Grey All-American Bowl. I’m grateful to have been invited and am now raising funds to get myself there. The Blue-Grey All-American Bowl is a combine and pro bowl that brings high school talent from across the country to compete and display their skills in front of college coaches, scouts, and thousands of fans. It is televised by ESPN and draws millions of viewers. This would be a huge opportunity for me, and hopefully, even catch the eye of some college scouts.
I’m an honor student, captain of the Wakefield football team (back-to-back All-District First Team), and I have a job with the county helping to set up events at parks and community centers. I balance school, work, and football by staying in the present. When I’m in history class, I’m in history class, and when I’m playing football, I’m playing football. This has served me well, as has watching how my Pops interacts with people in the community. It’s taught me how to talk to just about anyone. He’s who I would bring to the Blue-Grey All-American Bowl, and who would be proudest of seeing me play there. I appreciate anything you can give to help me on this journey.
- Thank you.
