On December 30th, 2024, this sweet, vibrant 6-year-old Trip Steele was hit by a truck and trailer in a devastating accident. While we are relieved to share that he is stable, Trip has sustained serious injuries, including skull fractures, brain bleeding, he lost 50% of his left ear and has a blown right ear drum, bruising, and a broken jaw. As he continues to fight for recovery, Trip faces multiple surgeries and a long road ahead.

Trip is the kind of child who lights up every room with his infectious smile, boundless energy, and love for life. His playful spirit and sweet nature make it hard to imagine the pain he’s enduring, but through it all, his family remains hopeful that with the right care, he’ll continue to heal.

The financial burden of his medical care is overwhelming, and his parents are doing everything they can to stay by his side.
