Short Summary

 

During the middle of the pandemic, I decided that IF I was to have the chance to continue playing music once we got back to some semblance of normalcy, I was going to try and cherish the opportunity to record with musicians who I deeply connect with. This thought brought me to the grand plan of recording three separate trios in three cities that have been crucial to my development as a musician, to be released on the Outside In record label. 

 

I recorded the first of the three trio records (The Chicago Trio) in August 2021 with bassist Clark Sommers and drummer Dana Hall and it was released Feb 11th, 2022. The second of the three recordings (The Kansas City Trio) was recorded in March 2022 with bassist Ben Leifer and drummer John Kizilarmut and will be released September 2nd, 2022. 

 

This brings me to my FINAL recording (The New York Trio) that will include bassist Matt Clohesy and drummer Obed Calvaire, which will be recorded in May 2022 and released in April 2023, to conclude the trio trilogy. 

 

I am creating this fundraiser to help with the expense of seeing not only the NYC trio recording come to fruition, but also the expense of promoting the second and third recordings of the trilogy. 

 

I have self-funded a large portion of the fees necessary to making the first two records happen and I'm reaching out to my fans and friends to ask for a little help in seeing this project through to the end!
