Steven, Manny & Hooker are taking part in Tour de 4 2026, the cycling event launched by Sir Chris Hoy following his Stage 4 cancer diagnosis.
1 in 8 men will get prostate cancer and the realities of how widespread it is, hit-home to us a couple of years ago when Manny decided to get himself tested and was diagnosed with prostate cancer. Thankfully his decision to get things checked-out, leading to an early diagnosis, helped ensure his treatment plan was hugely successful. He's cancer-free and back to his old-self!
We wanted to recognise the tough time Manny, Tricia and all the family faced over the last couple of years by taking part in a fundraising event and what better way than Chris Hoy's Tour de 4. So we'll be riding the Red 56 Mile Route on Sunday 6th September in aid of Prostate Cancer UK and hoping to raise as much money as possible for such a worthwhile charity.
We want to continue raising awareness of how important it is for men to get themselves tested. We want to help fund the research that will improve the odds of catching prostate cancer earlier, so that there's many more positive outcomes, just like there was with our pal, Manny.
Please donate as much as you can to support us.
Many thanks,
Steven, Manny & Hooker
