Celebrating 60 Years of Trinity – Uniting Our House Heritage for Music Bursaries
To mark Trinity’s 60th anniversary, the Music Department is taking on a one-of-a-kind fundraising journey—linking the places behind our revitalised House system and raising vital funds for the Trinity Bursary Fund.
The Challenge: From Castle to School
Our route is designed to connect the House story from start to finish:
• Pembroke – setting off from Pembroke Castle
• Worcester – travelling via coastline, hills and rivers to Worcester
• Cambridge – a special link in Whitgift’s story (Master of Pembroke and Trinity)
• Canterbury – to Canterbury, where Whitgift became Archbishop
• Trinity – finishing at Trinity School, ready to celebrate together
Along the way, the team will travel by foot, bike, canoe, punt, and more—a true multi-discipline test of stamina (and teamwork).
Why We’re Doing It
The Trinity Bursary Fund helps ensure that any talented student can access an education at Trinity which includes instrumental and singing tuition, regardless of financial circumstance. This challenge is about protecting access, widening opportunity, as well as keeping music thriving.
Every student benefits from a diverse learning environment.
