December 15, 2024: Help Us Scale Our Impact Across Uganda!
Since our humble beginnings in 2020, Trinity Forestry Services has grown tremendously, thanks to your unwavering support and generosity. What started as a community initiative focused on Urban farming in Kampala’s slums has blossomed into a nationwide movement for environmental restoration, economic empowerment, and climate action.
Here’s what your support has enabled us to achieve:
Nationwide Impact: We’ve expanded our operations across Uganda, we were able to formalize ourselves under the laws of Uganda. We are carrying out restoration projects in all regions of Uganda. We acquired local contracts in tree growing, Forest establishment and management, Forests and agricultural supplies, training and capacity-building projects.
Thriving Tree Nursery: We established and expanded a tree nursery with a seasonal production capacity of 250,000 seedlings, with a vision of producing 1 million annually in the near future. We are currently the outstanding producer of native and indigenous tree seedlings in our region and we are nationally recognized and certified by the United Nations Food and agriculture organization.
Employment and Empowerment: We’ve grown our team to 11 permanent staff and casual labor contracted during field operations. Therefore we now provide jobs for women and youth in the communities we serve, offering both income and skill-building opportunities. We have some people we have trained and skilled who now have functional nurseries and forestry businesses. We are proud of these people’s success and work hand in hand during business.
Restoration Success: To date, we’ve planted over 1 million seedlings on private and public lands, fostering social, economic, and environmental benefits. We have been able to attract clients by our dedicated team and service coupled with the quality and reliability of our services and products. We have maintained returning clients and have good relationships with various stakeholders such as Local Government, NGOS, Businesses, and individuals all over Uganda.
Renewable Energy Solutions: We recently launched a clean energy initiative, producing Rocket Lorena improved cook stoves. These stoves promote clean, efficient, and sustainable cooking. We look forward to integrating solar kits to enhance functionality and reduce emissions. We also plan to expand this so that we can produce portable cook stoves and eco-friendly cooking facilities.
As we continue to expand our impact, we’re excited about the next phase of our journey:
Building Our Headquarters: We’ve secured land for a new office that will enhance our operations, improve productivity, and position us for strategic partnerships.
Scaling Climate Solutions: From agroforestry to renewable energy, we believe in the power of diverse solutions. Our position is to have fully functional and well-equipped nursery for promoting tree growing, Carrying out restoration and forest contracting or tree planting services.
We invite you to join us in taking the next step. Your contributions will help us:
- Construct our headquarters for greater operational efficiency.
- Expand our nursery operations to meet the growing demand for high-quality seedlings.
- Empower more communities with employment opportunities, skills training, and awareness of climate action.
Together, we’re building a greener, more sustainable Uganda – one seedling, one stove, and one restored ecosystem at a time. Thank you for your continued support and belief in our mission.
April 17, 2021: Launching a One Million Tree Campaign!

From late 2019 to mid-2020, the Trinity Forestry Services team trained 48 young people and widows in urban farming. They build demonstration gardens and teach the residents how to use found plastic containers and sacks as growing containers.
Trinity is excited to continue expanding their efforts to even more people. They use a simple model of training one person, who then is commissioned to train five more within the month.
For families that live in these areas during the pandemic, life has become even more difficult. Being able to provide nutritious food for families, earn some pocket money, and work together to create a brighter future are now more important than ever.
Trinity Forestry Services provides forestry and tree-planting services, as well as community projects.
Our goal of raising $1,000 for the Trinity team will provide options to respond to ever-evolving needs including:
- Computers
- Smartphones with cameras
- Access to the internet and data
- Website
- Seeds
- Tools
- Transportation
The Trinity team is demonstrating caring and belief in restoring the prospects of the forgotten, the poorest of the poor.
Please join us to be part of the movement to empower the residents of these neglected areas in living to their fullest potential and experiencing the joy of growing food in their own community.
We launched this GoFundMe to raise money for one of the teams participating in the 2020 International Climate Action Challenge.
