Trina's cancer recovery

Hi, my name is Krisiey Salsa and I am fundraising for my mom’s cancer recovery.

In June of 2022, my mom found out that she had breast cancer, more specifically, Invasive Ductal Carcinoma.

The treatment path she’s gone down is working for her, but it’s very expensive and not covered by insurance. So far, she’s been able to shrink the tumor by 30%, which is wonderful, but she needs to continue the treatments to fully get rid of the tumor and the cancer.

Mom needs financial support to help her cover her medical bills, which include in-home and in-facility treatments. Anyone that knows mom knows that she is an extremely hard worker, and despite her working full-time, she is unable to pay for these treatments without your help.

My mom is one of the most generous and caring people I know. I can remember going with her to take clothes to students who were in need when she worked at the school. Any time there’s someone in need that she knows, she never hesitates to take food and offer her time and energy to them. She’s a giver, and like most givers, it’s hard for her to receive.

Our goal is to raise $100,000 for her much needed medical treatment so that she can live a long and healthy life and so that she can continue to be here for all of her loved ones.

It’s unfortunate that most people don’t get to see how loved they were in their life; how much that little something they did was never forgotten by the person who was on the receiving end. My wish is that my mom can experience this.

It’s not easy to ask for help, but when we do, it’s an amazing gift to receive.
