Family and Friends –

As some may know, my mother, Trina Walls was diagnosed with Stage 4 Heart Failure in May 2023. She never knew anything was wrong, and had she not gone to the doctor for an annual physical, who knows what could have happened. To be told her heart was functioning at about 15%, when it should be at least 55-60%, was unimaginable. Getting diagnosed in May, having a pacemaker/defibrillator implanted in October, going down to 10% heart function, to being worked up for a transplant end of November, and then receiving the news that the committee overwhelmingly approved her as a candidate for transplant on December 1 has been nothing short of amazing and shows the power of the most high, our Father!

We often worry and question God during challenging times, but as his word says, “Do not be anxious about anything, but in everything by prayer and supplication with thanksgiving, let your requests be made known to God. And the peace of God, which surpasses all understanding, will guard your hearts and your minds in Christ Jesus.”

All things considered, my mom will be admitted back into the hospital on December 27 until a heart is available for transplant. The timeframe for a heart is currently unknown.
