TRILOGY to the Fischoff Competition!

We've arrived!

This is the trio at 9 am in the airport.  They car rental facility at O Hare is as big as the airport you'd find in many cities.  We arrived a little early and they didn't have the van we ordered, but we managed to get the cello into an SUV instead and took off that way.  We're staying just a few blocks from campus.  Homework, salsa and chips right now.  We go with Riley try out the piano we'll play on tomorrow and register in about twenty minutes.  Then we're off to Lila's second cousin's house where we can practice! 


Flying with a cello is a thing.  you have to buy a seat for it (which you all helped us do)  There's a picture of passenger Cello, above.   It can throw the folks on the plane, but our coach told us to just act like you know exactly what you're doing.  Whichwedid.Seemedtowork!hich we did.  Seemed to work.

Olivia, Lila and Riley

TRILOGY is a classical piano trio made up of New York City public high school students ages 15 and 16. We are Olivia Pantoga, violin; Lila Holyoke, cello; and Riley Barker, piano.  We met in the New York Youth Symphony Chamber Music Program 4 years ago and have been playing together ever since. We have been presented by the NYYS Chamber Music Program at Carnegie Hall for the last two years in a row. Last year we were awarded the NYYS Director’s Award for Commitment and Achievement at Carnegie Hall. We have also performed many community outreach concerts around New York City, including at New York Presbyterian Hospital, the National Arts Club, and many aged care centers.
