Tri-Colour Classic - Charity Basketball Broadcast
Donation protected
Our broadcast team of industry professionals at Toronto Metropolitan University (TMU) has partnered with the event organizers at Queen’s University to be in charge of their broadcast and media for this year’s Tri-Colour Classic (TCC) on November 14th, 2024.
The Tri-Colour Classic is a highly anticipated charity basketball game between Queens University’s Engineering and Commerce programs. It is an annual rivalry game that raises money for childhood cancer. This event is in direct collaboration with the Canadian Cancer Society and the esteemed Dr. Donald Mabbott Research Lab at SickKids' Hospital. The game is played at the Slush Puppie Place in Kingston, home of the OHL’s Frontenacs, with over 4,000 people in attendance. This broadcast is our 4th-year thesis practicum project that our professors have green-lit to explore.
Over the last three years, the TCC has helped to raise nearly $250,000 for childhood cancer. This year’s game in November is going to be a live broadcast in association with CBC Sports across Canada. With the enhanced attention our broadcast is bringing to this event, it is the hope and estimation of TCC Productions that we will help raise approximately $150,000 to $200,000 this year.
Our production team is seeking any donations and financial assistance to bring our aspirations for this broadcast to life and help maximize the money raised for childhood cancer.
Any donation to our broadcast efforts would be greatly appreciated! All donated money outside our broadcast expenses will go directly back into the Canadian Cancer Society’s fund for childhood cancer.
We sincerely thank you for your consideration!
Kind Regards,
