Last month Tricia received the news that all women fear. A lump in her breast is cancerous. A biopsy and scan revealed that she has inflammatory invasive ductal carcinoma stage 3B with some lymph node involvement.
She has already had a small surgery, body and bone scans, multiple trips to the oncologist and surgeon. Tricia had her first of 6 chemotherapy treatments on August 6. She will have a long battle ahead including chemo, surgery and radiation.
Tricia and Jamie are both self employed and learned that their insurance coverage is extremely poor. They will have to pay well over $200,000 out of pocket for treatment even after financial aid from various sources.
Tricia and Jamie are very humble and extremely HARD workers. They would never want to ask for help. They are ALWAYS the first people to jump in and help people when needed. We have an opportunity to help ease some of their financial burden so they can focus on Tricia's health. Lets show them our love and support during this stressful time! I am asking friends, family, and friends of friends to consider donating. If you can only donate the cost of a pizza or a latte- anything is appreciated.
Tricia and Jamie trust in God. It is said by the faithful that God will only give you that which you can handle. If any woman can handle this fight with courage and grace, it is Tricia!
If you are unable/unwilling to donate financially prayers and positive thoughts are always appreciated.
