Tricia's Road to Healing and Hope

Paige Phillips is organizing this fundraiser on behalf of Tricia Shepard. On Tuesday, May 13th, 2025, Tricia was scheduled for outpatient spinal surgery. However, there were complications. Tricia was taken to emergency surgery afterward to remove the spinal stimulator, leaving her paralyzed from her waist down.

What was meant to be a pain-free, in and out procedure has turned her world and flipped it upside down.

Tricia will be transferred from St. Elizabeths hospital to Edwin Shaw's rehabilitation hospital at Akron General in Akron, Ohio, where she will undergo intense physical therapy in hopes that she may walk with assistance again between 4-6 weeks.

She has a long road ahead of her but not without a good fight. Anyone who knows Tricia knows that she is a go-getter and nothing stops her. While she recovers, Tricia leaves behind her two beloved fur babies, Carma and Princess, who patiently await to be reunited with their momma!

All funds will go towards medical expenses and physical therapy that her insurance does not cover. Any amount, big or small, will help, or if you can, share this page to support Tricia.
