Tricia Lippert - Morgana - Recovery Fund from SoCal Fires
Donation protected
On January 9, the Eaton Fire in Altadena, CA devastated the mountain nook community above Pasadena. Our dearest friend Tricia Lippert and her son Dylan Ghezzo lost their home and most of their possessions.
We are grateful that they and their dog are safe, but she needs help getting on her feet after this horrible tragedy. She and Dylan need basic supplies, clothes, shoes, and cards for food, Target runs, etc. while the paperwork for emergency assistance is going through the pipeline. Your contributions will help as a bridge for these unexpected needs.
I, Bonnie Shockey, and my husband Bob, as her close friends and heart-family in the Southern California area, are facilitating short-term assistance for the Lippert-Ghezzo Family. None of the donations will come to us, but will be accessed by Tricia Lippert herself as she needs them.
Gift cards for restaurants or local stores are also appreciated. All the aspects of recovery, and indeed just the first few weeks, might not be covered by other sources of aid, as Trish waits for her applications to be processed.
Known by many as Mistress Morgana in the Society of Creative Anachronism, Trish is sad to report that almost all of her and Dylan’s (Gabriel Battaglia/SCA) medieval clothes, goods, and treasures were lost to the fire. Artisan help, in lieu of money, would also be worth exploring.
She would like those who have offered to assist to know that there is insurance for the property, but the time gap between need and rebuilding her life is what this FundMe is focused on.
We would appreciate any financial donations as well as the continued well-wishes from all. Questions can be directed to Trish or to Bob and myself, or Jason Williams - Duke John /SCA.
