Tricia Anderson Jones Memorial and Family Fund

Just as I was posting this page I received the news that Tricia passed away!

It is with a heavy heart that I still post these original words as they may help you and others decide to assist in the urgent needs now that the family will be facing!

We love you Tricia! May you rest easy and know that your babies will be loved, always!

Support Tricia's family in helping cover medical bills, caring for her children and helping with the finances that are mounting.

Tricia and her 13 year old son began showing symptoms of Covid-19 nearing the end of April. As they quarantined, he tested positive but was through the tough part of the virus quickly. Tricia tested positive on May 1st. The virus began to hit her hard and she was taken to the hospital just a few days after, as she was having trouble breathing. She was given medical assistance and was able to return home. But, on May 11th she was rushed to the hospital by ambulance and was admitted to ICU. Soon she was placed in a medically induced coma and put on a ventilator to assist in the fight for her life.

Tricia has made it through these several weeks of many different treatments, a transfer to a more capable hospital, multiple blood transfusions and a couple of scary phone calls from the hospital (that no family should ever have to receive). Although she has made it through these weeks she continues to be in an induced coma to ensure that the treatment has its best chanced to do its work. But obviously, the doctors must discuss all options with the family, including the reality of how treatment may be damaging her body even though it is meant to help.

During this time, she has missed out on so much, including being quarantined for Mother’s Day and in the ICU coma for her daughter’s high school graduation! I know how special these days are for their family!

Her family and friends are in constant prayer for her wellbeing, but the reality of finances for not only medical bills but also caring for her 13 year old son and 18 year old daughter, who is autistic, are mounting on the minds of the family.

Tricia’s mother jumped right in to care for her grandchildren! She is doing everything in her power to keep the world together for the two teens. Unfortunately, she has been out of work for nearly a year and her unemployment has run out. So added to the stress of Tricia fighting for her life and the kids… well… being the growing teenagers they are, she is not only concerned with the mounting medical bills but, now has an added worry of general finances for the family!

If you love Tricia, know Tricia, know of Tricia, heard of her story or somehow just landed on this page randomly, I implore you to consider donating to this fund! The help we give will allow her family to focus on her health and not so much on the lingering burden of finances.

Thank you for taking the time to read about Tricia and her family. Sharing her story will be greatly appreciated as well!
