Tribute To Steven

Dear friends and family,

I am creating this GoFundMe to honor the loss of our beloved Jose Steven Encarnacion. COVID-19 came knocking at our door unexpectedly and took the life of one of our own. I remember when Steven was born, the doctors told me that he wouldn't live a very long life due to having certain health conditions (they even suggested that I terminate my pregnancy.)

But God had bigger plans.

Jose Steven Encarnacion was born on October 9th, 1993. Our family rejoiced at the birth of my miracle baby boy. To the doctor's surprise, he was able to do the very things that doctors said he wouldn't.

He learned to walk and talk, played basketball, and even graduated high school.

He loved cars and sports (he loved the Miami Heat).

He was special to all of us.

Unfortunately, his life took a turn when he tested positive for COVID-19. Steven suffered from previous medical conditions that made his situation worse when he got pneumonia. On Wednesday, August 25th, 2021 at 8:03 AM, Steven took his last breaths.

No parent should have to endure the pain of burying their firstborn child.
