Let’s Honor Stella Varey

Hello South Bay families - I’m reaching out to our wonderful community to honor a woman who has touched so many of our lives, Stella Varey and to let her know how much we love her.  

Mrs Varey taught at South Bay Adult School for over 40 years and mentored thousand of parents, while her light, laughter and love brought joy to thousands more children. In return, we’d like to pay tribute to her by placing a park bench in her name in Valley Park, which was a special place where Stella held countless activities for the kids, from Teddy Bear Picnics to the Olympics. 

Stella and her family know about the bench and are excited to see it! It will be a good way to let her know that she will always have a place at Valley Park and in all of our hearts.
