Tribute To Richard Morales

Dear Family and Friends,

I am deeply saddened to write these words but we lost our beloved brother Richard Morales on October 1st 2020.  It also pains me to inform you all that the cause of his death was suicide.  Richards long battled with depression came to a halt on October 1st.
My sisters and I have gone over and over whether to include his cause of death here and for several reasons we did not want to.  The decision to do so was not without careful consideration.  The final conclusion was based on the amount of love Richard had for so many.  We know that our brother would have wanted, if at all possible, to use this tragedy to spread awareness.  Depression and or mental illness is real.  Each one of you reading this may either know someone who is battling a mental illness or quite possibly you yourself may be silently fighting the exhausting war of Depression.  Please know that there is help out there.  Reach out to a loved one, tell someone.  Just like we all fall short of the Glory of God, alike, we all deserve to have a life filled with love, peace and happiness.  Our brother Richard was kind and caring soul and when he loved he loved with all his might.  But it was his love for God that brought him joy and peace that he craved so desperately.  Though Richard was fighting many silent battles he was always there if someone needed his help.  Over the years he led many people to the Lord.  He pulled a few people away from their addictions and showed them just how wonderful and forgiving our Creator is.  He truly was a minister of God.  One of his passions were sharing the word of God with people.  I pray that his memory lives on in the hearts of many.

The viewing will commence on October 9th 2020 (time to be determined) and the
Memorial Service will take place on October 10th (time to be determined) at the
Allen Funeral Home in Wylie Texas 75098

Many of you have reached out asking how you can help.  We appreciate your thoughtfulness and simply ask for your continued prayers that we may find peace concerning this tragedy.   We would also appreciate any monetary donations to help cover the cost of Richard's funeral expenses.  The total cost of funeral is $7500.00 which includes a Dinner immediately following the Memorial.  All is due no later than Tuesday October 6th 2020.

Our Goal is to reach 7500.00 in donations anything left after all funeral expenses  are paid, will be sent as a donation to the
American Foundation for Suicide Prevention.
