In Loving Memory of Marc

Hi, I’m Joe Putnam, one of Marc’s dearest friends from his time in Nashville. Marc was a cherished part of my life and our tight-knit community here, and I know he touched countless lives around the world with his warmth and spirit. If you’re reading this, I’m sure he meant a great deal to you too.

We’ve created this fundraiser to give everyone who loved Marc the opportunity to contribute in his memory. Your donations will help us honor him in meaningful ways, including:

•  Covering funeral arrangements, including cremation, to ensure Marc is laid to rest with dignity.

•  Transporting a portion of his ashes to Los Angeles for a Celebration of Life, where friends and family can gather to remember him.

•  Hosting a special lunch before Marc’s Celebration of Life in Nashville on June 7th, bringing us together to share stories and celebrate his legacy.

For the Nashville gathering, we’re planning a meal that reflects Marc’s vibrant personality—bagels with all the fixings shipped from New York, paired with catering from his favorite local restaurants. It’ll be a moment to laugh, cry, and remember the joy Marc brought into our lives. Any remaining funds will be donated to a charity that reflects Marc’s values, which we’ll select with input from his loved ones.

Every contribution, no matter the size, will help us create a fitting tribute to Marc—a celebration of the light he shared with us all.
