Tribute to Madrid Rajkumar

It is with much sadness and a heavy heart that I post this go fund me for Sandeep and Manorama (Mona). Sandeep and Mona were blessed to learn that they would have a little baby boy, who they decided to name Madrid. His birth was approaching, estimated to be around the 17th of December, 2021.

 

On Tuesday, October 26th, Mona attended a routine checkup with her doctor. The doctor was unable to detect the baby’s heartbeat. They received the terrible news that they had lost their son. Mona was taken into surgery and the couple are now facing the difficult task of planning a funeral service for their boy. What was supposed to be a beautiful time of celebration has turned tragic and devastated this wonderfully close, caring family. Their little daughter Myra would not grow up with her little brother as she had hoped and the family is coping as best as possible considering the circumstances.

 

Funds are needed to help this dear family in preparing a proper funeral for baby Madrid. Anyone who knows Sandeep and Mona personally, know how kind and generous they are. They have hosted visiting students in their home, worked closely with the International Student Center on the campus of California State University San Bernardino (CSUSB) where Mona works and have offered food, aid and guidance to anyone needing it. Anyone in need are never turned away from this generous couple. Mona once told me that she wanted international students who were far from their families to feel comfortable and have a friend here in Southern California.

 

As I am sure you can imagine, this is a very difficult time for Sandeep and Mona. The emotional toll of suddenly losing their son is now coupled with having to plan his funeral. Any help you could offer would be a blessing. They are not the type of people to ask for help, but have helped so many, it’s time for us to come to their aid in their time of need.

 

Please keep Sandeep and Mona in your thoughts and prayers. God give them strength to face the difficult days ahead.
