It is with our heavy hearts to share that our most beloved Lucy Rectra Encinareal suddenly passed on Christmas morning, December 25th, 2020.
Lucy was a wonderful mother, grandmother, daughter, sister, aunt, and friend who touched the lives of those around her. She always remembered to celebrate the birthdays and anniversaries of her family and friends. Her home in Queens, NYC, was a revolving door to visiting family and friends who stayed with her, either short or long term. Lucy was a registered nurse who dedicated her life for the care and comfort of others. She was a valued member of her community for her charitable and volunteer work. She will be terribly missed.

Her children and their families are blessed to have covered the funeral costs in New York and North Carolina to give her a Catholic funeral service. We are grateful for the many comforting words, prayers, and expressions of sympathy. We are so humbled and thankful for the outpouring of support. Yet, many of you have asked, “What else can I do?”.
Due to the absence of her Last Will and Testament, her family is facing probate fees. Please consider making a donation to help defray their legal expenses.
Thank you.
