It is with a heavy heart that we share the tragic loss of Lisa Buffaloe on March 31st, 2025.
Lisa was a beloved mother, grandmother, sister, daughter, and friend. Lisa was a beautiful, caring, kind-hearted soul that touched the lives of everyone she came in contact with. She was truly one of a kind, always putting others before herself and offering a shoulder to lean on in times of need. Her amazing advice, warm heart, and beautiful smile will be deeply missed.
Lisa's fight began in 2017 when she was diagnosed with metastatic breast cancer. She fought a long battle, ultimately getting a double mastectomy. In 2023, a tumor came back on her liver and her spine, causing her to be unable to walk. In January, she developed pneumonia and flu A, which led to her being hospitalized due to having trouble breathing. During this time, they ran tests and found out that the cancer was taking over her body and her kidneys were failing. She fought so hard every single day for 8 years. She was a warrior, the strongest person you would ever know.
Though her time was brief, Lisa's influence was profound, whether it be through her family, her friends, or those she ran into. As we navigate this heartbreaking loss, we are reaching out to the community to help cover the expenses of her funeral. All donations made will help cover funeral costs. Your contribution, no matter how big or small, will provide comfort and strength to the family of Lisa Buffaloe. Your support will help us honor Lisa's memory and ensure her legacy lives on. Thank you for your kindness, your prayers, and your overall support.
