Together for Jerin: Fundraiser for his family
Donation protected
We remember Jerin who has tragically passed away on the 3rd of September at the age of 33.
A very loving and caring husband to Reshma, a father to their baby that he will never meet, a wonderful friend to many of us in the UK and India.
Jerin was hit on a pedestrian crossing by a speeding car driving on the wrong side of the road. After suffering fatal head injuries he was declared brain dead within 12 hours. After a short battle, he passed away the following day.
He was a devout practicing catholic and a regular church goer. A big guy with a soft heart and a lovely smile. Despite his high level education and as a civil engineer by profession, he was down to earth and not afraid of casual jobs in order to settle in the UK. He was very hardworking and diligent.
He loved food! He loved cooking and baking, especially for his wife - he was passionate and he understood that love goes through the stomach. Jerin's dream was to start a cake shop. He crafted cakes to perfection, then he would bring them to church to share with everyone after mass. His cakes were not like the ones you get in shops. He understood the balance of flavors. You just felt love when you ate his food! Sweetness of his presence will be greatly missed.
Jerin was very much looking forward to becoming a father. We are heart broken losing him, and losing his presence for his wife and his expectant baby. We mourn for the loss of his role as a provider to his family, his plans and ventures he was passionate to pursue for his growing family.
At this hour of loss, however, let us be united in prayer but also in supporting his family here. No financial contribution can replace Jerin. What it can do however is to ease some of the burdens that his wife, future child and family need to bear. Reshma wishes to take Jerin back home to India, to his loved ones, and to bury him there in his home town.
She can't do that without your help.
Please be generous as you send a financial gift here that goes directly to her.
She is hoping to fly back to India as soon as possible (roughly in 2 weeks).
Your financial support will also go towards the life ahead of his wife and their baby. He cannot longer provide for them!
Jerin would be very grateful for all you are doing for his family on earth! And appreciates all your prayer you send to God for him in heaven!
Thank you.
