Tribute to Heidi Race

Friends of the Race Family... I am writing with a heavy heart... as the tragedy of the loss of Heidi Race begins to set in.  

On Sunday, 8/23/20 Heidi Race passed away suddenly in a motorcycle accident.  Heidi was an incredible mother, wife, friend, and care-taker who approached life with an unequivocal appetite for joy and fun... she relished every day with her family and friends, and she went out of her way to make everyone feel like family.  Heidi made sure that when you were with her, you had a smile on your face.  

Herb (Heidi’s husband) tells us that in her last moments:

“She was smiling ear to ear, her blue eyes were sparkling, and we told each other we love you.”

It is difficult to express how much we will miss Heidi’s powerful, fun-loving personality.  As you can imagine, this sudden tragedy ushers in unprecedented uncertainty and unexpected financial strain.  Please do whatever you can to lend a hand to lighten the load on the Race family, and show them that you are there to help them through this incredibly difficult time.
