Tribute to Christian Mendoza

On the evening of November 23rd, 2021 the beloved Christian Mendoza tragically and unexpectedly passed in a car accident in Manhattan Beach, CA. For those of you who do not know Christian, he was a wonderful father, husband, son, brother, friend, and educator. He fought for under represented individuals in the education system, giving a voice to individuals from elementary school students to college students. Using his Adjunct Professor position and his new position as a principal, Christian planned on continuing to use this voice to help advocate for equity in academia.

For those that did have the blessing of knowing Christian, you know how much family meant to him. His children and wife were everything to him, just the same as he was to them. He was loved by everyone for his charismatic personality. Everywhere he went, someone was laughing, smiling, or just genuinely happy in his presence. He and his family are some of the most selfless individuals I know.

Losing someone you love is undoubtedly one of the hardest things we have to do as a human, and one of the few things that we can all come together to agree on. I ask that we can all come together to help the Mendoza family in the same way they would help others. We would be so grateful for even a share of this post. A small donation from you could go a long way. Worrying about funeral expenses should be the last thing this family has to do during the Holidays. Please help me in helping them not have to worry about funeral expenses so they can focus their time on their goodbye and last moments with their loved one.
