Hello everyone! My name is Dylan Giddens.

I am a father, musician, business owner, but first a child of God.

In 2022, I wrote this song about my 12 year old sister that I had lost in a major car wreck my siblings and grandfather were involved in back in 2009 headed to school. Writing this, I had just left a crazy opportunity with a debuting country artist, Chad Phillips, in Southern Middle Tennessee. We were doing great things, but the singer himself was going to have a baby and gave it up so….

“Angel in Denim” was also written about a month before my dad passed away, not knowing another tragedy was going to hit. Losing him led me down a very dark path, and in that season, writing became my lifeline. I poured my heart into the pen and paper and the Lord, all through my struggles, though I kept most of this to myself. I never started this journey though, after such a great write… a true real raw word….I left it all behind and kinda went “crazy” for a moment.

For me, songwriting has always been spiritual, way more than just music… It’s been a way God has helped me process life, pain, and faith. Over the years, I’ve continued writing, but I feel led now to finally start releasing, sharing, and pursuing this more seriously.

I’ve walked through some hard things, and I believe those experiences have given me something real to say. Funding would allow my first ever project to take off. I have spoken to a leading studio with 25 years of recording experience and many hundred hits, and they are eager to tackle the project as well! There is so much behind this song, more than a story, but a saving angel, and so much more in store once this first is released! I can only hope you’ll be a helping hand in the start of this journey! I’m excited to grow, to collaborate, and to learn alongside other Christians, writers, singers, and artists in this community. I’m mostly excited to release the songs and lyrics I have hidden over the last several years.
