Tribute Fund for PC Laura Jew
PC Laura Jew lost her two year battle with cancer last week.
Laura was 34 years old and mum to three young children.
Laura had been with West Midlands Police for 13 years, beginning her career as a PCSO in Sandwell in 2008 before becoming a Police Officer in 2014 and working in Birmingham City Centre.
More recently Laura returned to Sandwell as a neighbourhood officer.
Laura will be remembered as a brave and passionate officer. As well as a loving mum, daughter, sister, girlfriend and friend to many.
whether it was in her roles as a PCSO or PC, she always put the public first. Two years ago she featured in a BBC programme where she spoke honestly about the dangers officers face on a daily basis, following an incident where an offender broke her wrist.
the money raised will go towards a memorial, Cancer research and support for Laura’s three beautiful children.
