Many of our friends, family and relatives have asked how you can help with the costs for medical care for our Tlingit and Haida Associate Justice Aurora Lehr.  As you may know Justice  Lehr was diagnosed last year with cancer. This devastating news came just before the COVID-19 restrictions went into effect. The T&H Justice System and the Office of the President (OTP) had begun preparing for a medical fundraising dinner. These plans were put on hold nearly one year ago. Recently a team reconvened, revised plans and we have launched a new series of events to raise funds to help cover some of Aurora’s medical expenses, including providing a method for direct contributions.  

I hope you are able to help.  Aurora has been an integral part of the T&H Judiciary and the Tribe for many years. It is dedicated and committed citizens like Aurora that makes T&H such a great and successful tribe. One of our Tribal values is to have "Pride in Family, Clan and Tradition is found in Love, Loyalty and Generosity" and it is within this spirit that we make this announcement.
