Help Me Turn This Triathlon Into Something Bigger

The last two years have been full of challenges and change. Through it all, I’ve turned inward—focusing on the things I can control: my health, my mindset, and my drive to keep moving forward. Being sad and stagnant is the easy path, but I’ve chosen each day to get up, embrace life, and keep moving forward. Even on the hard days, I remain determined to squeeze everything I can out of this one life.

There’s a simple thought that keeps me grounded:
If I offered you $10 million, but the condition was that you wouldn’t wake up tomorrow—would you take it? Probably not. Which means just waking up today is worth more than $10 million. So why not live like every day is a $10 million gift?

This weekend, I’ll be racing in the Zuma/Malibu Triathlon—not just for myself, but to raise money for three organizations that represent the areas of life that keep me moving:

The National Council for Mental Wellbeing – in honor of my father.
I believe mental health deserves real weight in our government, our policies, and our communities. Too often, we patch symptoms instead of healing the root. NCMW works to change that by supporting those battling substance abuse with therapy and resources, while also influencing policy so lawmakers and judges can create healthier, more compassionate paths forward than simply locking people away.

The Malibu Foundation – for fellow fire victims.
When I lost my home in the Palisades fire, I saw firsthand the devastation that comes with disaster. The Malibu Foundation steps in for families who lose everything, helping rebuild lives and communities when it feels impossible to start over.

The Challenged Athletes Foundation – for making this race possible.
This foundation gives athletes with disabilities the chance to pursue sports and live full, active lives—showing that the joy of movement and competition should be for everyone. Their work is the reason events like this triathlon are what they are today.

We have just 48 hours until race day, but I believe in my community and loved ones. Together, we can sprint to the finish line of our fundraising goal by the time I cross that line on Sunday morning.

If you can, please donate—and help me turn every mile of this triathlon into something bigger than myself.
