Triathlon for Heartburn Cancer UK
Donation protected
Hi everyone! Just a note to say thank you for taking time out of your day to read.
Some of you may be fortunate enough to know my father, Neal. The most supportive, wittiest man/legend/dad.
He recently had a hard time with his cancer treatment, but he retains his humour, unequivocal strength and optimism.
In support, I will be competing in the T100 Olympic London Triathlon - August 2025.
Donations would be incredibly generous and deeply appreciated.
Money raised will be going to Heartburn Cancer UK, this is a charity working to raise awareness of the early signs of Barrett's oesophagus & Oesophageal Cancer. With early diagnosis, lives can be saved.
59% of oesophageal cancer cases in the UK are preventable compared to 38% of other cancers.
8000 people die of oesophageal cancer in the UK each year.
12% survive 10 or more years compared to 50% for other cancers.
Oesophageal cancer rates in men have risen by 57% since the early 1970s. In women the rates increased by 9%.

I’d also like to encourage personal donations of pizza and a good masseuse for the aftermath.
Love you Daddy x
