Triathlon for Clubfoot Treatment

Hi, my name is Rob Harrison. I'm going to be competing in my first triathlon on October 19 at Fort de Soto Park. I've been training hard for this race, so I want to dedicate my effort towards an effort that has transformed the lives of 1000s of kids around the world.

The Global Clubfoot Initiative (GCI) is an organization focused on ending clubfoot disability. They envision a world where every child born with clubfoot can walk freely. GCI partners with NGOs in over 70 countries to build capacity and scale up access to high-quality Ponseti treatment, especially in low- and middle-income nations. By training clinicians and raising awareness, GCI works to integrate effective clubfoot treatment into sustainable national health systems, ensuring children receive the care they need.

My personal interest in clubfoot advocacy comes from my sister, who is a member of the small team at GCI. I've been impressed by their tireless effort and the ambitious scope of their goals. Equally impressive is the profound effect that each treatment can have for an individual child.

I hope that you will assist me in this fundraising effort. If you would like to donate an amount per mile, the total distance is 27 miles (0.5 swim, 20 bike, 6.2 run). All donations will go directly to partner organization, Clubfoot Fund and be doubled when transferred to GCI. I'm extremely grateful for your support!
