Hillary's Pollinator Garden
Donation protected
Hello, my name is Harry Herskowitz and I am building a native pollinator garden in the Church Hill neighborhood of Richmond, VA, in memory of my sister Hillary. The garden will be a raised bed containing native plants that support local bees, butterflies, and other important pollinators. My sister Hillary lost her life to mental health issues last spring, and I have wanted to build something positive in her memory. She loved nature, and I know she would love to see this garden built. I found the perfect location in a sunny corner of what I call "The Triangle Park" in Church Hill. Thanks to the guidance of my neighbor Elaine, who runs Friends of Jefferson Park, I was able to gain official approval for my project from Richmond Parks and Rec. So, now I just need the money to build it! I estimate I'll need at least $250. Any extra money will be used for maintenance, fun stuff like birdhouses, or donated to other local gardening projects. I have a great group of friends and neighbors who have offered to help build and maintain the garden. Y'all are the best! All donations are greatly appreciated. Thank you so much for your support!
