Triad Radio Audio Archive Project

During the 1970's I produced and hosted the Triad Radio program in Chicago on WXFM-FM. During those years I played an eclectic mix of music including all genres and interviewed many of the musicians from that period including Donovan, Kraftwerk, Seals & Crofts, David Bowie, Gentle Giant, Nils Lofgren Pink Floyd, Rory Gallagher, Yusef Lateef, John Kay, Airto, Eno, Yoko Ono, Ray Manzarek and many more. A few years ago I started digitizing my collection of reel to reel recordings of the interviews and airchecks that I have on hand and created an audio archive on box.com that I have made available free to the public where the can stream or download the files in the archive. Now I would like to expand the archive and digitize more of the tapes I have. I would also like to scan and convert to pdf copies of the magazine we published during those years that included the radio show program as well as articles, record and concert reviews. That all take time and money which I am short of and this is the purpose of this campaign. I believe the contents of the archive will be of great benefit to music fans and researchers in that period of musical history.
