Miles for the Marsh
Tax deductible
My name is Liam Desjardins. I’m an aspiring environmental conservationist studying at the College of Charleston. This year, I am hoping to use my physical abilities and interests to raise awareness for marsh restoration efforts in South Carolina. On September 20th I will be running IronMan Maryland and am dedicating this journey to raising funds and awareness for the restoration of South Carolina’s vital marshlands. These ecosystems are the heartbeat of our coast, and I believe we can protect them—one mile at a time.
The organization I am excited to support and work alongside is the M.A.R.S.H Project of South Carolina.
The M.A.R.S.H. Project is a grassroots and community-based program working to restore and preserve local marshland in Charleston, South Carolina.
This donation will work towards helping and hosting local programs to preserve and restore our local marshlands in Charleston, South Carolina. With yalls help, we'll be able to: Promote the restoration of native plant species in our neighborhood watershed and rehabilitate oyster reefs near our local creek.
The donation is for the M.A.R.S.H. Project and is donated through the Carolina Ocean Alliance.
