Healing Roxana - Cancer Stage 3 with Rectovaginal Fistula.

Donation protected
Hello, I'm Roxana, a 42-year-old single mother of three children living in the UK. My back story began in 2017 when I was diagnosed with cervical cancer, leading to multiple abdominal surgeries including a radical hysterectomy. Unfortunately, medical negligence during the hysterectomy resulted in further complications, including a nephrostomy, several sepsis, recurrent UTIs, and a post-surgery vaginal fistula, which was partially repaired and of course, lots of trauma.

In addition to these challenges, I've been dealing with recurrent perianal abscesses that were initially dismissed by my doctor. Despite my concerns about possible fistulas forming, I was misdiagnosed and treated with different antibiotics and pain killers.
Although switching primary care doctors, thinking it will change something, I was offered only invasive tests and the possibility of ostomy surgery, which I dread after years of medical negligence and finally they put a diagnosisof recurrent cancer in stage 3, the main reason of forming the fistula.

(The medical definition of a fistula, because I didn’t know what they were until I suffered from them:
Recto-vaginal fistulas, or holes, develop between your vagina and rectum. Vaginal tears in childbirth, as well as pelvic surgeries, can cause this type of vaginal fistula. Gas or stool may leak out of your vagina.)
For the past 5 months, I've been living with this fistula, relying on painkillers and holistic treatments while feeling hopeless.

Doctors in the UK refused to offer me an mini invasive surgery and offer me radiotherapy, that may damage the tissue in a more aggressive manner, reason for which I refused the treatment.
At the moment I am in Romania where I have to repeat all the test from 0, because in UK doctors did not do any tests of biopsy, tumoral markers or other tests specifically for cancer.

Considering that I am not insured in Romania, I need funds to be able to access medical services in this country. For this, I respectfully ask you to donate, depending on how much your heart will allow, to be able to operate and access medical services in Romania.
