My loving mother and grandmother to my boy TJ passed away suddenly December 18, 2015.
The official cause of death was suicide, but I believe she died from a broken heart.
Many of you reading this are probably trying to figure out how you know the name, Angela Ricci.
Ricci was the last name of Angela's late husband Richard. Richard Ricci was falsely accused in the kidnapping of Elizabeth Smart in 2002.
He was convicted by the police and the public, and was intensely interrogated, all the while trying to tell anyone who would listen that he was innocent. He died of a brain aneurysm while in state custody.
Our lives changed drastically from the moment he was falsely accused. My mother stood by Richard as he continued to proclaim his innocence.
Elizabeth Smart was found safe. Her true kidnappers are in prison. Richard Ricci had nothing to do with this crime.
Since the day Richard Ricci died, my mother's broken heart never healed.
Even through her many trials and tribulations, my mother would always make time for family and friends. Her house was open to anyone who needed a place to stay.
Her love for people knew no boundaries. She was so kind to everyone.
I am asking for help for my mother's burial expenses. Any money left over will go to help raising her grandson TJ.
