Hello friends, I'm Roger Gauvreau, and I've created this page to help out our most beloved friend Trey Maddox and his wonderful wife, Missy Maddox, as they prepare for Trey's departure from this world.

Most of you know Trey's story. However, many of you may not. Trey is just one of those rare gems you find in this world. He's been a loving husband, devoted father, a Viet Nam War veteran, restauranteur, actor, an avid motorcyclist, always handy with a joke, and most of all, a friend to all who have been lucky enough to call him one.

As you may know, Trey has been battling cancer for the last four years. He's honestly the toughest person I've ever known. He's celebrated the wins, and had to feel the heartbreak of the setbacks. All while maintaining a relationship with his friends and family and worrying about how it affects them. The last few months have yielded the worst news possible in his fight. He received word from his doctors that he would no longer be a candidate for further surgery and that the cancer had spread to a point where he is having to make his peace with this world, as he has been given only a month or so to be with us.

It's undoubtedly a difficult time for Trey and Missy as they've had to reconcile their emotions about the cancer itself and now worry about how to plan and pay for his funeral arrangements at Fort Sam Houston National Cemetary. So it is with their blessing that I have created this Go Fund Me account. Any help that you are able to give to Trey and Missy would be greatly appreciated. Thank you for your support!
