Hey everyone-

My name is Amber Skinner, I am good friends with, and have worked alongside Trey and Cyndi Baker for a little bit now. I am posting this (with their permission) in hopes to help relieve some of the financial stress that are coming forth.

Trey was involved in a car accident 11/6 in Cambria that landed him significant injuries. He was taken by ambulance to Memorial Hospital Carbondale, where he was later flown to SLU. It was found that he had spinal fractures of C6, C7, and T1 with C6 being crushed, and while at SLU he had to undergo surgery to fuse together C2-T2.

As everyone that knows Trey, knows that his passion is flying. He has been a flight paramedic with Air Methods for numerous years and of course is distraught thinking that he will never be able to put his helmet on again.

Trey has helped numerous people within in his community in their times of need, so it is time that he gets help as well. Everyone knows that being in a severe accident is tough, however not knowing when or even if he can return to work is even worse. The driver of the other vehicle that caused the accident did not stop, so all of the medical bills are on Trey and Cyndi, this plus the depression is taxing already. I am trying to help them out the best way that I can.
