Hi everyone,

My name is Kayla, and I’m starting this fundraiser for my incredible stepdad, Trevor — a man who has quietly fought one of the hardest battles life can throw at you: epilepsy. After years of seizures, countless hospital visits, medication, and unimaginable stress, Trevor is now facing the biggest step in his journey — brain surgery.

For those who don’t know, Trevor has been living with epilepsy since he was 6.5 years old. His seizures have impacted every part of his life — his health and independence. But through it all, Trevor has remained patient, kind, and deeply devoted to our family. He’s been a steady, loving presence despite the chaos happening in his brain.

After exhausting every medical option, doctors have determined that surgery is the best chance for Trevor to gain control of his seizures. This isn’t a decision we’ve taken lightly. Brain surgery is risky, expensive, and requires a long road to recovery — but it offers real hope. Hope for a better quality of life. Hope for freedom from constant fear. Hope for healing.

Trevor’s surgery and recovery come with many costs: follow-up appointments, travel expenses, and time off work for both him and our family. We’re doing everything we can, but the financial burden is overwhelming.
